The project consisted in changing the water service measurement system of the houses in those districts, where there was a lack of skilled labor, most of the workers were plumbers, and the geographical conditions of each district and social issues around the work area represented a major challenge for carrying out the project. In this context, we decided to apply the Lean Construction philosophy as a strategy to meet those challenges. This paper presents some of the results obtained after implementing some Lean principles.
