Under §10 of the Charter and Operating Procedures, the IGLC keeps a set of standards for how it runs itself and its conferences. The Standardisation Committee develops, maintains and updates them; many are still being developed.

Standards are numbered major.minor.patch: a new major or minor version is adopted by two-thirds of the Standardisation Committee (§10.3); a new third number is a correction of typos, spelling or links. Every version stays at its own address.
